Aspen Studio ("we", "us", or "our") operates the CatSafe mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our App.

1. Information We Collect

a) Account Information

When you sign in using Apple Sign-In or Google Sign-In, we receive your name, email address, and a unique user identifier provided by the authentication provider. If you choose Apple's "Hide My Email" feature, we receive only the relay email address.

b) Anonymous / Test Mode

You may use the App in anonymous test mode. In this case, we create a temporary anonymous user identifier through Firebase Authentication. No personal information is collected.

c) Subscription & Purchase Data

If you subscribe to CatSafe Premium, your purchase is processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not collect or store your payment details (credit card number, billing address, etc.). We receive only a confirmation of your subscription status from RevenueCat, our subscription management partner.

d) Usage Data

We may collect aggregated, non-personally-identifiable usage data, such as the number of searches performed, pages viewed, and crash/error logs, to improve the App's quality and performance.

2. Information We Do NOT Collect

• We do not collect your precise location.
• We do not access your contacts, photos, camera, or microphone.
• We do not track you across other apps or websites.
• We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for advertising purposes.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Authenticate your identity and manage your account.
• Provide and maintain the App's features (toxin database lookup, safety information).
• Manage your subscription status and free trial period.
• Improve the App based on aggregated usage patterns.
• Communicate with you regarding your account, if necessary.

4. Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policies:

5. Data Storage & Security

Your account data is securely stored on Google Firebase servers. We employ industry-standard security measures, including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) and Firebase Security Rules that restrict data access to authenticated users only.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. If you wish to delete your account, please contact us at the email address below, and we will remove your data within 30 days.

7. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete it promptly.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction or deletion of your data.
• Withdraw consent for data processing at any time.
• Lodge a complaint with a data protection authority.
