Aspen Studio ("we", "us", or "our") operates the MewGuard mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use our App.

MewGuard does not require you to create an account or log in. You can use all features of the App without providing any personal information.

1. Information We Collect

a) Automatically Collected Diagnostic Data

We may collect anonymous, aggregated diagnostic information such as crash reports, error logs, and general usage statistics (e.g., number of searches performed, app version, device model, operating system version). This data cannot be used to identify you personally and is used solely to improve the App's stability and performance.

b) In-App Purchase Data

If you purchase MewGuard Premium, your transaction is processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not collect or store your payment details (credit card number, billing address, etc.). We receive only an anonymous confirmation of your purchase status via RevenueCat, our subscription management partner, which uses a device-level anonymous identifier to manage entitlements.

2. Information We Do NOT Collect

• We do not collect your name, email address, or any account information.
• We do not collect your precise or approximate location.
• We do not access your contacts, photos, camera, or microphone.
• We do not track you across other apps or websites.
• We do not sell, rent, or share any data with third parties for advertising purposes.
• We do not build a user profile or link any data to your identity.

3. How We Use Information

The limited anonymous data we collect is used solely to:

• Diagnose and fix crashes and technical errors.
• Understand aggregate usage patterns to improve the App's features and content.
• Verify and restore your in-app purchase status on your device.

The App uses the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policies:

5. Data Storage & Security

Because MewGuard does not collect personal information, there is no personal data stored on our servers. The App's plant and toxicology database is stored locally on your device. Any anonymous diagnostic data is handled using industry-standard encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS).

6. Data Retention

We do not retain personal data because we do not collect it. Anonymous crash and diagnostic logs are retained only as long as needed to resolve technical issues, after which they are deleted.

7. Children's Privacy

The App does not collect personal information from anyone, including children. MewGuard is safe to use for all ages. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13, and our no-account, no-login design ensures no personal data is gathered.

8. Your Privacy Rights (Including California Residents — CCPA)

Because MewGuard does not collect, sell, or share personal information, most data rights requests (access, deletion, opt-out of sale) do not apply in practice. Nonetheless, we are committed to honoring your privacy:

• You have the right to know what data we collect — as described in this policy, we collect only anonymous diagnostic data.
• You have the right to request deletion of any data associated with your device. Contact us at the address below and we will address your request within 30 days.
• We do not sell personal information. Period.
• California residents may exercise rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) by contacting us.
